Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bills Helper (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, or use Bills Helper (the “Service”). We built Bills Helper to help people manage their money, and we treat the privacy of that information as a first-class concern.
Information we collect
- Waitlist & email. When you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can notify you when public sign-ups open. This is handled by our email provider, Buttondown, on our behalf.
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and the credentials needed to secure it (including two-factor authentication data where enabled).
- Financial information you enter. The Service lets you record accounts, bills, income, transactions, and balances. This information is stored so we can provide the Service to you. We do not connect to your bank or import data automatically — you enter what you choose to.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our servers automatically log information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to keep the Service running.
How we use your information
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
- To send you the one waitlist notification you asked for when public sign-ups open.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical problems.
Email and marketing
We only email you if you have opted in — for example, by joining the waitlist. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. We do not sell or rent your email address. Our waitlist emails are sent through Buttondown, which processes them on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Bills Helper — for example, our email provider (Buttondown) and our hosting provider — and only to the extent they need it to perform their service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention
We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Account and financial data is kept for as long as your account is active; if you close your account, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive stored credentials and transport encryption (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit who can access it.
Your rights and choices
- You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
- You can ask us any question about how your data is handled.
To exercise any of these, contact us at support@khoa.win.
Children’s privacy
Bills Helper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
